5 days Post Op

Hi Everyone. It has taken some time to get adjusted at home but we are sure glad to be here. Here is a picture of Sarah 5 days Post Op. Each day Sarah is gaining a little more strength and more spunk. The only difficulty we have run into has been Sarah refusing to take her antibiotic. We have had it flavored at the pharmacy with grape, then bubble gum and tried putting it in pudding or in chocolate sauce with no luck. There have been multiple calls made back and forth to the doctor and lots and lots of trips to CVS. The one anitbiotic she needs to be on has certain properties and coverage to protect her from infection. She did received it regularly in the hospital via IV. As difficult as it has been with this battle we do understand that she feels like she has been through enough. We feel like this too. 
Yesterday, Bill and the kids helped me celebrate my birthday with a little cake. These frosting faces were the result :) Thank you again for your continued support.
