Recovery Room
Sarah still remains in the recovery room awaiting her bed on the floor. Right now she appears to be resting peacefully. She has opened her eyes and talked a little. She has something on her cheeks which they refer to "Glyco Cheeks" or anesthesia cheeks which is very common. Basically her cheeks are a blotchy red. Sarah did have a few sips of apple juice but even after just a couple sips she had some nausea and was given some Zofran to help her feel better. Right now she is a cathader in and her drain from her head is doing what it needs to. Sarah has felt some soothing from a cool facecloth we have put on her face. For now we wait in recovery until a bed is available on the neurology floor.
